For sho. I only buy shoes online. But that is one amazing thing that has changed life.

I used to be a buyer at a reputable shoe shop and on Jordan launches people would camp outside and wait so they could get in, in the morning. We ended up handing out tickets to keep it all controlled. 5 people in at a time so we could fit and reduce returns.

Now, I get an email, 30 seconds later I am purchasing and get a ship date instantly. Insane. Yes, I do not have them on hand, but I know I have a pair arriving 5/21 and I didnt have to camp on hard concrete.


Story time I camped one night outside of City Sports in Georgetown in DC (now closed) for a NIke SB release. We went to bars all up and down that night, got ruined and our tent on the sidewalk held our spot. Passed out to the store manager banging on the tent. I had spent all my cash at the bar and had to put them on my credit card. I was so ashamed and so mad at myself. Good times.
