coaches worth on a game by game basis. If you aren't a basketball or brownell supporter that's fine but those of you who come on here when we win and talk about how great brownell is and then log on when we lose to proclaim that he can't coach is absolutely ridiculous.
I base a coach year by year and as the season progresses. Coach brownell has shown that each year his teams get better and he has dealt with a lot since getting here. Next year we should improve but won't have a home floor. I expect us to be a bubble team this year at seasons end and the same next year.
Support the Tigers or don't!

after looking that bad against a bad team, I would be worried about our fan base. There are too many complacent basketball fans on here and that is actually part of our woes in basketball. Our fan base just doesn't really give a #### and is happy with being an NIT team.

Did great things for Clemson and took them to the highest level but has lost the fan base and seems to have lost his swagger and maybe his players.time for him to go but also be appreciated from what he's done

early games are important too. Old Cliff Ellis,, would win those "suppose too" games, but we all knew that they weren't that good, either.

Easleytiger.....just what has he dealt with? He inherited an NCAA level program, and it is hardly close to that anymore. Now I am sure you are one of those that wants to think once the arena is redone that it will unleash Brownells genius and turn things around. OP managed to build a competitive program, and fill it for the most part, with the same facilities. Brownell is a likeable guy, and for some reason folks want to make excuse after excuse, and give him pass after pass. Th e problem is that in doing that Clemson is settling for a mediocre program on its best day, and sometimes worse. Maybe Clemson can set a re or for most consecutive trips to the NIT.

Injuries (ie blossom game and rooks), transfers, kj leaving early, losing basically a recruiting class due to OP leaving last minute.
I don't expect the new arena to provide magic but it should help. If he can't get it done after a full season in the new arena then it might be time for a change.
