They take alot of special ed students in all sports

that normally can't get into college. It's a part of their curriculum somehow & they are allowed to play. I don't remember the details, but when I coached in Charlotte back in early '90s, they took many kids that got a "certificate" instead of a diploma.
I've always called it "EZU" because anyone can get in and BTW, they don't charge tuition....it's called a 'cover charge' there. (Insert rim shot here)

This type of athletic QB coupled with the committment of Jabo Lee makes ECU formittable on that side of the ball. Don't they play both USuc and UNC every year? If so it is addition by subtraction.
BTW, I was really disappointed when Jabo didn't get recruited by Clemson. One, I think he will be very successful, and is under-rated. Second, it would be awesome to have a Dabo and a Jabo on the same team.

I wish this young man the best of luck. On a related note, this is just further proof that the ACC will never admit ECU.

I do not think that ECU will ever get into the ACC. Do we really want 5 schools from North Carolina in the conference?

I certainly don't, but it depends on who you ask. However I think the real reason they'll never even sniff a hint of an invitation is because of their academic weaknesses.
