Did anyone watch the Navy game?

They did no live work before and looked ridiculously unprepared.
I can't imagine we won't be ready to go, but do you think Wake might struggle a bit due to protocols?

implemented.
I assume the masks come off and we've both been hitting in practice.

I would like to be a Tuna Fisherman, feel kinda sorry though for the magnificent creatures being killed just to satisfy the Japanese and 'merican Yuppy Sushi market. I would be a yellowfin tuna guy or albacore guy.
Game was pitiful. Note to self: If not going to practice tackling because of a Plague might be better to wait till plague has petered out THEN practice and play properly.

I was curious how many other teams in the country had

not done live drills. Seemed to have put them at a huge disadvantage but they seemed overmatched anyway.
Didn't we use to do no-tackle practices during game weeks in some of the Bowden years? I seem to remember that and then us having a hard time actually, you know, making tackles on gamedays.

It was certainly the worst day that Navy has had since 12-7-41.

No live tackling. No live face to face blocking.
Navy might have had a chance if they were playing flag football.
As a former Naval officer, it was extremely disappointing.

Hartman will think he is back at Oceanside High playing Timberland and losing.

Wakes coach said they had only done one live scrimmage with tackling. Could be a ploy but he didn’t seem very optimistic in saying that starting with Clemson really makes it difficult. The player interviews were embarrassing when they were asked about going up against Clemson.
They know they are a big underdog.

I listened to the BYU pregame show on TuneIn. One of the guys actually picked the Middies to win a close game because BYU lost their starting QB earlier.
When his partner gave him grief for it, he said that it had worked every time last year. But I think even he would have been embarrassed at being off by so much.
Apparently nobody knew the Middies hadn't done any live practice.
