Helps us with our numbers crunch as well if we get lucky on a few oversign worthy prospects.

I hate to see him go.

I watched him at the spring game and liked what I saw. I know the coaches know much better than I do, but I thought he brought a different element to the ground game. Seemed to be able to power through where toher guys couldn't. We don't have another big back (210+)on our roster at TB. I wish him nothing but the best!

Well, dang. I really wanted to see a true power back at Clemson. Howard is a solid runner, but it would be nice to have a true hard running back.
Best of luck to you, Demont.

to walk away from his Auburn commitment and come to Clemson. I always rooted for him to get some playing time and become a bruised goal line back. Good luck wherever you end up Demont!

It looks like Ellington will be our physical/every down RB and Bellamy will add some quickness to the position.
Howard will likely be our backup.
Good Luck to Buice whatever he decides.

I understand a guy wanting playing time but the only person holding him back is himself.
Stay on the team and get a first class education.

a true bruiser like Buice can potentially be. Demont also has some decent wheels for his size too. I hate to see him go, he really did add an element to our backfield, but I guess there's not much room with AE, MB and DJ in front of him (HotRod still in the mix too).
Can't say I really blame him for transferring.
Best of luck to him for sure.

Good luck to Buice. Serious question though... why now?

why during the middle of the season. Same with the WR a couple weeks ago.
It seems to me with a team on a hot winning streak, # 8 in the country, these announcements could wait until the end of the semester?

if you wait till the end of the season it's much harder to find a school. Most will have filled that slot with a recruit.

Buice would be the power back of the future since Bellamy is more of a smallish skat type back. Oh well, good luck.

I sign off to have dinner, spend some time with the kids and put them to bed and come back to this. Kind of a downer. I can't help but wonder if Sammy's success and playing time as a freshmen is causing some of the others to think they should be on the field making the big plays and being the star. Not questioning the coaches, they have a plan and it is working.
Looks like such a talent and wish he could have developed a bit, earnd some playing time, found a starting slot, if not this year then next year but if he don't want to be here and be in the program then best he rolls out now I guess.

We have way too many RB's. I'm surprised somebody hasn't already left. The good news is that we have two more scholarships open.

The fact that Buice has not played much is an indication that he was not as good, in the coaches' opinions, as the ones in front of him. Unfortunately for him, but fortunately for our team, we have backs who are better. It really is that simple. I wish him the best, and I would bet he can find a program where he can be more of a factor, but at Clemson, we have better backs, and they seem to be getting the job done. God bless Demonte for wanting more. I know it had to be a tough decision for him. I hope to read that he is very successful in the future.
