Judging from the Charlotte and Phoenix airports and being in Scottsdale all day it appears we're going to be drastically outnumbered in fans. I hope we have more coming out today! It's not very Orange out here.

Just giving my observation. It's beautiful here. If we continue to make it to the Fiesta over the years every Tiger fan should come at least once.

6 freaking years B/4 me, so let's lay off since all he said is something my Buckie friend told me last week..that Clemson would be outnumbered 2-1 or even 3-1 due to their larger national fan base, maybe being richer & Tiger Fans holding their $ for Tampa..

It's ok, Clemson pretty much plays better on the road. Crowd noise doesn't really cause confusion for DW and this offense.

are flying out either today or tomorrow. I'm flying out EARLY tomorrow morning.
Also, some are flying to Vegas and then driving to the Phoenix.

I think that is the case with my friends that are going as well. I will second his comment about how beautiful Arizona is though. I spent 4 days out there for the National Championship game and loved it. Everyone should definitely go see the Grand Canyon and if you are a history buff like me I highly recommend going to Tombstone.

Have a great time and make some noise for me! I could not afford to go this year, but I went last year and did not get to see much of the area except for the stretch between Vegas and Phoenix and the stadium.
I am saving my money for Tampa since I bought airline tickets there in October.

Compare that to the state of South Carolina with only 4.8 million with half the state being split between Clemson and USC... So yeah their fan base is at least 3 times bigger.

Hopefully it's a good bit more than 15%. But given that so many midwesterners retire and vacation in Arizona, that OSU fans didn't have a championship to go to, and that's Clemson just played there last year, I would've expected a good bit more of the fans to be cheering for OSU.

In my opinion with Christmas just passing and the cost of tickets etc it would be smart to get down today or even tomorrow morning. I know some are making a whole long trip put of this but if I had the money to go I would be down there tomorrow morning watch the game get to my hotel and leave new years day.

OSU's alumni base cannot be compared to Clemson's as they are more than twice the size. Who cares who has more? These are two incredibly talented and well coached teams that will both come ready regardless of who's in the seats. Have fun at the game, wish I was there! This will be the best bowl of the year IMO

They have over 100,000 and we have about 22,000. I think the difference has been even greater in the past meaning they likely have 5 times or more alums than Clemson.
Our guys will be fine - we've been a good road team this year.
