I’m in my 30’s and a millennial, so I can speak...

Aug 1, 2018, 4:45 PM

Most of them are spoiled rich kids with tattoos that don’t know how to work, never been taught any work ethic, or just simply “don’t care”

This never applied with me and what my dad expected out of me. He made me work coming up and I’m glad he did after all these years. As I’m looking on facebook and Instagram seeing a lot of my millennial “friends” travel the world I wonder where in the he!! They get the money do all these things. Honestly this really burns me up how so many millenials get a “free ride” in life while I’m busting my a$$ 50 plus hours a week working.

this sounds like whining, a typical trait for millenials***

I don’t think u understand what I’m saying. I don’t see how other millenials afford these expensive trips with quitting their jobs and not working .

Plenty of people travel the world with no money.

Also, do you honestly think rich kids doing stuff poor kids don't get to do is unique to this generation?

Do you mean like vagabonds?

You've never heard of people hitchhiking across Europe?

And for anyone who thinks rich kids today get perks, talk to a baby boomer. Rich kids back then got to not go to Vietnam. I bet that would have gotten in your craw a lot more than some ######### taking a selfie at the Eiffel Tower.

That's a problem with social media. If 10 people post about 10 diff trips you start to feel like each one is a world traveler because of the cumulative affect. Often those are old trips, and I bet most are charged to their credit cards. Don't let envy damage your good work ethic. The grass is not always greener, frequently it's astro turf. (Fake)

I'm glad your parents parented!

Yes, they did parent, and I’m thankful I hope that the way they raised me will take me far in life.

I’m not bashing millenials just wish I didn’t have work like many dont seem to do, and enjoy all this free time they seem to have portrayed on social media.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

your way out is to figure a way out to make money off them. Some are dumb

Aug 1, 2018, 5:21 PM

And easy to take advantage of. A lot are just lazy and can be taken advantage of but you have to be smart about it.

If it bothers that bad, get off social media. I have yet to join Facebook. You only see what they want you to see. Everyone is propped up there.

You are a fine, clean cut young man.

Man it’s really nice to hear about your work ethic. Stay true to who you are and always work & be responsible. Save your money towards retirement & you’all be the one standing in the end.
