I'm glad Tony Steward is showing just how good our defense

was last year. He would have started at most teams and considered one of their best players.

I hope he plays to his potential and gets a great free agent salary in 3-4 years.

Tony is a Tiger forever and we'll be pulling for you brother!

This is good news, and hopefully the beginning of a great success story!

Might be the steal of the draft...

Aug 24, 2015, 4:34 PM

in 3 years he might be the best defensive player from Clemson in the NFL

He and Stephone are really going to have long careers if the injuries stay away .
Remember , Steward was the top LB in the country by a couple services coming out of HS. His talent is unmistakable, and top that up with the fact that he is smart and humble . He is going to take that starting spot from the injured guy , i bet .

Without injury he would have gone in rd.1

Sad to see that he was set back so far by injury. No one denied his talent, it was obvious. But with that set back sometimes comes hunger and desire to push through....looks like thats what happened in this case. Hate to see someone like him get drafted so far out of where he belongs and have to wait a couple of years for his payday. He should be fun to watch though as he claws his way to stardom. IMO, he was the biggest steal of the draft even moreso than Grady Jarrett, who was also a steal. With GJ the Falcons got 1st rd heart, work ethic, and desire with 3rd round natural ability, in the 5th. With Steward Buffalo got 1st rd everything (minus knees) in the 6th.
