timeline. If he truly showed symptoms on the Monday following his last game, he would have been HIGHLY contagious on Saturday when he was on the sidelines. and more folks would have been affected.

I'm guessing our contact tracing is in question.

he showed symptoms on a Wed iirc. Stayed quarantined from Thur week one to Sat week two.

But, I thought the most contagious time is early on not late.

technicality for sure. And I only wonder if we said yes to a postponed vs a forfeit on their part (which I feel it should have been) because we are concerned about getting the last 2 games in. Pitt may end up cancelling or vice versa if our positive is really a positive and others are impacted.
