OK, so LSU blew out Oklahoma...

Big deal. Remember...we beat Virginia 62-17 two weeks before that. And if you ask me, Virginia and Oklahoma are just about even in talent, ability, and coaching. What does all of this tell me? It tells me that LSU gave up 28 points to OU, while Clemson gave up just 17 to UVA. We have a VERY good chance to win this game...a much better chance than a lot of fans (and most of the media) are giving us.

Agreed. Defense usually wins. I've seen plenty of college teams with great qbs lose big games. TUA, DW4, Manning, Manning, Burrows, Hurts, Fields, Mayfield, Action Jackson, Boyd, Winston, just to name a few.

OK came in with the national #2 rated Total Offense, ONE YARD behind LSU.

OK came in with the TOP D in the Big 12.

OK came in 12-1, UVA not so good.

OK came in rated #4, UVA not so high.

Stars do matter but its what you get out of them that really counts. In the UVa//UF game I'm sure UF rated FAR higher than UVa but the game was pretty darn close...
