All this coot can do is trash a QB that was sitting on the bench with a 34-0 lead in the fourth at Billy B last year. If the shoe was on the other foot I would be smart enough to keep my mouth shut.

Do I think Dabo should've started Deshaun over Cole? Yes..
HOWEVER
Kelly Bryant is not Cole Stoudt. They aren't even in the same galaxy. Bryant is a proven winner. This we know. Stoudt wasn't even built for the position. Bryant is built like a linebacker. Stoudt had zero running ability. Kelly Bryant is an above-average runner.
The only thing Bryant seemed to lack last year was a solid grasp on the mid-long passing game, albeit an important aspect of the game.
But we would all be stupid to think that there's no way that KB couldn't hone in those skills so that he has improved his passing game, coupling that with his now veteran experience and game managing abilities that he now puts Clemson in a better position to win games than any other QB on staff.
Even with that being said, we also know that this battle is going to last into the season. Dabo has said as much. We need to cool it on this debate.. Dabo gets paid many a dollar to make these very decisions.

KB2 is an 12 - 2 incumbent QB. In 2014 , there was no incumbent, just a superstar that broke his collar bone in the Spring and put him behind for a while.
