Wedding. Saturday night. Florence. ESPN3 question...

Oct 24, 2014, 11:12 AM

The subject line says it all; I have to go to a wedding in Florence Saturday. Are there any blackout rules regarding ESPN3? I feel like I should be good to go, but I'm trying my hardest to avoid the "covert 3 hour disappearance to the sports bar" act.

Like staring at my phone for 3 hours is any better. GAHHHH...fall weddings >:(

I should ask: any Florentines ever been to Osbourne's? Any chance they have a TV/bar set up? Thanks for any tips!

No Dice on Osbornes dude. If it were anywhere else, you'd be good. My suggestion would be to sneak out and head to Apple Annie's which is about a mile down the street.

Yeah, the current plan is to pivot between Annie's and my iPhone (assuming all is good with ESPN3), all while drawing minimal attention. I won't miss a snap, but it won't be easy ;)

Thanks, man!

There's something in these hills.

You will almost certainly be blacked out...

Sorry man. :( Maybe somebody can hook you up with a slingbox feed.

Or you could just setup a full tailgate in the parking lot complete with satellite feed...I'm sure no one will notice.

you're good to go.

It is linked to your cable TV subscription and will allow you to watch the live ESPNU broadcast on your telephone as if it were part of your cable or satellite TV system.

Check it out.
