anything like this? Not only would it be mandated by the University of South Carolina athletic dept that their employment be terminated immediately, they might be banished from the city of Columbia entirely.

I grew up in an upstate small town just up I-26 from Columbia. Columbia was the closest place to go shopping for anything other than Wal-Mart crap. Hated the trips to Columbia.

I sent the link to a friend who pulls for one of those teams mentioned in the article and get this typical response, "Well, as we all know this stuff happens at all major programs. All major programs have a secret staff member who's sole purpose is to sweep the small stuff under the rug. We've just had a rash of things that couldn't be kept out of the media. Blah, blah, blah you know this goes on at Clemson too it just gets swept under the rug blah, blah, blah." Makes me crazy. I can remember DeAndre McDaniel's episode, but if I'm not mistaken the accuser retracted her story or something to that effect.

I am just glad TNET got it right on Elijah Daniel's recruitment, otherwise it could have been dire.

just do stupid stuff (I could personally have filled a multi-volume saga).....but when you start to notice a trend--too many arrests, suspensions, etc over too long a period of time, you know a big problem exists upstairs.
Seeing Auburn and FlaSt continually go through this crap is unfortunate and unnecessary. And if I were an alum of either univ, it would pi$$ me off. Sad to say that usuck is never very far behind those two when the number of "incidents" start getting totaled.
Not just picking on the SEC, though that conference does make an easy target, Its always been strange: ... I don't think anyone would question Mark Richt's stance on discipline....suspension and/or dismissal is a regular occurrence in Athens. But it makes one wonder how in the world the UGa staff keeps guessing wrong about the character of some of their recruits? It always pays to check the arrest log in the Athens paper during the summer....and guess what time of year is almost here?
Like every university, Clemson definitely has had issues in past with bad behavior from athletes. However.... the university has made great progress in correcting those problems and its something I believe everyone who bleeds orange is proud of....
