If this happens...

pay attention to Louisville's baseball stadium. It's already as nice as some of the other facilities in the ACC. The Cardinals will be a formidable opponent when they join the conference for the 2015 season.

I think its relatively safe to say

Louisville's going to be a formidable opponent for the rest of the ACC in football, basketball, and baseball.

Swofford got lucky on this one.

I've watched Louisville play already this season

I was stunned...you could see cars going by as you watched the batter. There's a busy street that can't be more than 100 feet behind home plate.

When the pitcher can be distracted by passing cars behind the plate, I can't call that a nice stadium.

I watched the Pitt VS Louisville and it was a nice stadium

better than BC and it also had lights, unlike some D1 schools. The fact we were top 16 in all categories and still did not get a region is BS. I do not want to hear it is how you finish the dirtpeckers were 5-7 out of their last 12 and 9-11 out of the last 20.

plus it's an astroturf field

May 27, 2013, 8:35 AM

You cannot have astroturf and claim a nice stadium.

Lovely

I hope they are right. This would be much better than

getting sent to Columbia again.

Louisville also has a relief guy that pumps in around 100.***

I hope they are wrong! I read somewhere that the NCAA is trying to keep teams closer to home. If that is true and CU goes to Columbia, or even Chapel Hill, I could take my daughter, the Clemson fan, to a game. No chance of that in Louisville. On the other hand, the TV coverage this year will be the best ever so there will be no trouble watching. Carolina and Clemson in the same Regional sure would be fun though!
