Even with a bad coach, the talent alone at UGA can still bring about a 7 win season. Here's why - the state of Georgia is an extremely football talent rich state where UGA has a huge advantage on mining that talent by simply being "UGA".
I lived in Georgia off/on for about 10 years and just about every adult and kid that grows up in that state is a big UGA fan (I'd say it is 90% UGA to 10% GA Tech fan split). Being a UGA fan is practically bred into the population regardless of whether they have any direct connection to UGA or not. So no matter who coaches the leg humpers, a significant majority of those talented Georgia kids will end up playing for UGA because they grew up thinking the world begins and ends with UGA.
I'm just happy that Clemson has been able to make some inroads into Georgia and selectively grab some of the best talent out of that state in recent years. But the fact remains, you go to any retail store in Georgia and you will find racks full of UGA merchandise with barely a space, if any at all, for other schools.

Since you mentioned the SEC card ....
What a conspiracy ... it runs deeper than originally thought. NFL teams risk millions by drafting SEC players over ACC players.
It not just SEC fans, players, coaches, media ... it includes the NFL and every single NFL team.
If not for Clemson the ACC would be closer to the AAC ...

I realize folks here like to poke him because he played for UGA, but Jake Fromm is a humble, God-fearing young man of solid character.
Hope he makes a good enough living in the NFL to become financially secure.
