Believe you are talking bout the Dropkick Murphy's "Shipping out to Boston." It is a huge Boston song by a Boston band played all over Boston for ever Bostonian. LOLOL!

There was some sort of bass/rhythm section thing going on almost the entire game inside the stadium - seems like it played even while both teams ran plays. Maybe that's what they meant.
I can listen to the Murphys just about any time.

Way better than just some loud warchant crap or a cockadoodle doo... it is a bit different for a football game but I liked it.

Flock of Seagulls, Depeche Mode, Culture Club, Human League, A-ha, Duran Duran, Bananarama, Wang Chung, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Wham, Midnight Oil, Tears for Fears, Eurythmics, and Men Without Hats. The list goes on and on and the one thing they all had in common is that they all absolutely sucked !!!!!

sounded like an 80s medley with just a keyboard, bass guitar and drums that were played between every play as soon as the play was over and right up to the snap
