It's recruit. I don't know what's up with the "sky is falling" mentality around here when it comes to recruiting. That's the one thing I'm NOT worried about.

getting the committment of Number 1 player in the nation. We'll worry about the OL next week. BTW we signed some good OL last year but everybody knows it takes a couple of years of seasoning.

it's tough to get excited about recruiting
especially when you play a BC or a Wake and watch a bunch of "scrubs" beat you up physically
watkins was definitely a game changer...but he's 1 in 1000 i imagine from a recruiting perspective
coaching and player development play a bigger role in a teams success than getting 18 yos to sign on the dotted line
...but then us Clemson fans know that already (TB and DS always had success in the recruiting dept.)

I don't ever post anything. I enjoy reading most of what people have to say, but geez, if we recruited 4 and 5 star lineman every year and 2 and 3 star skill players we would have to hear that he just can't get it done. Can we just enjoy that the #1 LINEMAN in this great country just committed to Clemson? We'll see if he stays committed, but for now, he is a Clemson committ. Maybe that will boost our so called # 40 rank to maybe the mid 30s?

Absolutely. I want great players no matter what position they play. I think we did decent with OL in the 12 class. Plus didn't we move a DL to OL to boost performance? I don't know. In any event, I'm not here to argue or bicker. Go Tigers
