I don’t think I like him. He seems overly brutish, even for a football coach. But I think he’s done a pretty good job.

I just dont think a frog could fire a shotgun. I mean, they've got tiny little arms. How's the gonna pull the trigger? And the recoil? My goodness, that frog would land in another zip code.

And if we dont turn the ball over 3 times in the redzone, they get blown out. Also if being ranked 7 weeks out of 6 years is a pretty good job, you might be a mediocre program.

that shows the kick would have been BLOCKED if kicked straight.
Kicks are like passes,runs and tackles,making em is part of winning .
Clemson blocked 1 kick ,almost got to another and(I think it was Tank)a DB was stretched out to block the failed game winning kick if it had been kicked straight ahead. It's al;l part of the game.

His record is something like 15 - 25 in ACC games and they gave him an extension and raise.
My problem with him is he is just an ahole in general. He never comes out and credits the other team. He I stead whines about the social media laptops are anything other than just saying the other team made the plays when needed.
He is Classless with a capitol C.

Why is anyone surprised that a 15 - 25 ACC record would get you an extension at NC State? When you have a incompetent goofball like Debbie Yow as AD what do you expect. She ran Maryland's athletic program into financial ruin and left them no choice but to leave ACC. Her and Doeren have something in common: One is a nut with 2 #####....the other is a boob with 2 nuts.

He is 16-4 in his last 20 though. State is coming along kind of the way we did.

16-4 vs Power 5 teams??? Or just 16-4 in his last 20 games total?
The true measure of a team is winning against quality opponents. Take a look at our record against the SEC over the last 4 years;
I will hesitantly give them credit for scheduling WVU but they find a way to lose to a bad South Carolina team a few years ago and they had a much better team on paper.
Until NC State starts beating Top 25 opponents, they will be perceived as a 2nd rate football program.
