Wendy's #2 combo review

If you don't like the truth, then stop here
Pull into Wendy's about 9PM for supper, because traveling late and semi-fat. Eye-balled the spicy chicken sammich because GOAT, BUT I figger, what is more 'Murican than a burger ? Haven't eaten since noon and that was Chinese (insert your own joke here.)
Step to the counter, TRDJ is in my ear on le phone, order the number deuce, which is a double with fries. Wait 10 minutes....nada. Clerk goes OMG MauldinT, they haven't made yours yet. I tell her to get crackin' because I am not like the normal poors who frequent Wendy's.
Anyway, get the burger and fries. TEMPER YOUR JUDGEMENT, RECALL I WAS STARVING.....fries get a 4/10. Crisp, cooked well, BUT NOT ONE GD GRAIN OF SALT ON THEM. Burger gets a solid 8/10. The crisp lettuce is the deal sealer for me. IMO rivals a 5 Guys burger and it didn't cost me $10.
I took a shower later after mingling with so many poors, still don't feel completely clean.
Wendy's > McDonald's > eating feces > Burger King

Rivals a 5 guys burger huh?

So it sucks?
If you can find a new one, Burger King ain't bad in a pinch. I wouldn't feed my dog McDonalds. Cookout is probably at the top, with Wendy's a second, and Burger King a distant, distant third.

Used to be great, but now I hardly eat there because the fries are so, so bad. Burgers are still good, but wish they would go back to the old pickles.

Only order a Big Whopper. That's the only acceptable thing there.

pees sitting down, secondly, I had fries and a burger, there was no need to add more fat on top of a meal that was essentially....fat.

about how the Biz Markie looking dude at the window gave my 5 year old daughter and me two frosties with two straws and no spoons. I don't think Traci Lords could eat a Frosty with a straw...

When BoJo is on point, the fries are the shiz.
Most of the time, however, they are potato mush. The BoJo's in Cayce, SC has gotten my order wrong 3 times in a row, so I have sworn it off forever.
