Very possible he just recently was given word by our coaches he would have opportunity to play QB but we only had one scholly for in 18 and the cupboard is loaded at the moment if everything holds true through signing day.....hate it he is a great athlete but looks like he is headed to Columbia, seems with Lawrence's commitment he's theirs to lose.

I think you're probably right but he did announce

Vtech so he is still looking. That would likely be a better situation for him than that dumpster fire down there.

If not a Tiger would love to see Joyner as a Hokie.

Muschamp has an extended history of taking highly regarded QBs and making nothing out of them with his horrible offenses. Joyner seems like a good kid and deserves better. Fuente is a QB guru that has a track record of developing QBs to their fullest and sending them to the NFL.

Agreed and I thjnk there is some integrity in that

Coaching collection too.

Exactly my thoughts, Muschamp struggled with future NFL QB's in Jeff Driskel (5*) and Jacoby Brissett (4*) on the roster. They finally got proper development when they left the UF program. Fuente would be good for Joyner, and he seems like a good person as well.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Would just as soon we not have to play against him ...

Dec 17, 2016, 12:22 PM

We can't take everybody and since Joyner absolutely wants to be a QB, Trevor Lawrence's commitment all but pushed Joyner away from Clemson.

I think he will probably be a really good QB for some school and I hope it's not one we have to face several times on the field. I'd especially hate to see him end up at SCAR.

Sure sounds like we were the door closing.

Right after the RL commitment.
