“I think of them (the Seminoles) still as my favorite college team. Even though I committed to Clemson, I‘m still a Seminole at heart,” Steward said.

This kid has balls and must REALLY love Clemson to commit here. I'm super excited for him! Now let's see if we can make Clemson his favorite team...

having kahunas (confronting Mom with decision), but he told us why! So why do we have such a difficult time recognizing it was a decision he made by being surrendered to His Lord and Savior. I am absolutely BLOWN away at the faith some of these kids have. I know I certainly did not have it at that age and they have SO MUCH pulling on them (the world!). Praise God and thank you Tony Steward for your witness and boldness! (as if he reads this stuff).

Maybe this explains some folks and their reluctance- 1 Corinthians 1:18
-- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

If ever there was a perfect fit for CU it is this young man.

He will reap the benefits of his decision. It won't take his mother long to come around either. Good luck Tony!
