out or picking cotton bolls is rassist, why doesn't the black community completely boycott cotton products: clothes, qtips, towels, linens, wound care (although most of this is Viscose now), wipes, diapers, feminine hygiene, upholstery, cottonseed oil for food, etc.....?
Oh and is asking the black community to "boy"cott something rassist?

but let's not take things too far. This 8th grade totalitarian complained because she was handed cotton at a slavery museum and asked to imagine being a slave. So it's not like they were objecting to cotton in general.

Heard a story about woman hobby photographer had pitcher of cotton field hanging in her office and some black wemens complained it was somehow rassist. Dis some crazy stit going on these days.
Ya know, somewhere in most people's family tree there was a slave if one cares to go back far enough. I FEEL SO OPPRESSED!!

I think it was in one of the r*pe joke thread. This is different, it a political argument not a sensitivity argument. I think what Ms Gov said was perhaps insensitive but until folks realize the horrible racism blacks have suffered they will never realize how good things are now.
You can call me a racist over nothing but being insensitive about certain things like my previous sentence. It won't change me and my thought process because this isn't a white thing or a black thing or even a red thing, mine is a perspective which was birthed from experience, not the constant cries of racism when little or none exist.
As I've said in regards to the perceived persecution of Christians by those who want to become victims of persecution, when they start feeding Christians to the lions I might take a position on the issue. If everyone had that attitude we'd all be all better off. No one would have an excuse for not behaving with civility.
