Flagstaff is on a mountain. Noticed next week that temps at Grand Canyon and Flagstaff, 2 hours north will be 20-25 degrees cooler than Phoenix. 8-12 inches of snow on Wednesday. Low's of 5-11 degrees most of the week.

Just in case anyone wants to do the drive

its roughly 145 miles from Phoenix to Flagstaff and it's uphill! I swear when you get there it's like you're on the Ponderosa from Bonanza. Ponderosa Pines everywhere. There is a lot to see there.

Yep. Going north from Sedona you begin to emerge onto the

Colorado Plateau. Pretty amazing scenery. Sedona is a gem. I was out there in December 2013.

Flagstaff is an awesome place. I could retire there in a heartbeat.

Jan 5, 2016, 9:04 PM
