well...... you're not very smart.

Clemson has been to the playoffs 3 straight seasons and appeared in the national championship game 2 times and won it once.


Get a clue!


0% chance Clemson is getting left out.... I would say Clemson could still lose a game and still get in....

We have street cred people!!!

there is something to it.

ESPN has always had an agenda. They are the one mouthpiece that affects Heisman and CFP.

Good thing is there is a long way to go. But I would bet good money:
- if Clemson loses one game, Clemson does not make CFP
- only way that loss still allows Clemson to get in is if 3 of these 4 (Bama, Notre Dame, OSU and UGA) lose on same weekend.
- there is a chance that Clemson wins ACC, goes undefeated and still misses CFP

They will choose "same teams always in" excuse and drop Clemson to allow ND in

Personally, i do think two SEC teams deserve to get in. But that and ND will be the narrative over next four weeks to 6 weeks - unless UGA and ND lose.

An interesting scenario would be if an undefeated ND got left out. It could be the motivation to get them to finally join a conference. Remember what happened between TCU and Baylor when their conference didn’t have a Championship game.

There will be fewer than 4 undefeated teams. If Clemson is one of them we are in.

There will be some 1-loss teams. If there are not enough spots for all of them, some will be left out. In that scenario, our schedule hurts us this year (unlike recent years).

So I think we just need to win out. No reason we won’t. And we’re in.

I don't care if the media is throwing Clemson's name in the mud for the next 3 months. If Clemson goes undefeated we will be a top 3 (likely 2) seed guaranteed. There is no way around that.


Further after that the chunk of losses this weekend to LSU, Oklahoma, MSU, Stanford, OkSU,and Auburn we are in much better shape. 1-2 weekends like this last one and Clemson will be in mulligan territory.

IMO if we lose one regular season game but win the ACC we have about a 70% chance of getting in.

ND and UGA will likely lose before the end of the year.
