We are where we are because of continuity...If we start losing excellent coaches and do not have their replacement in place, we will be like Bama, LSU, etc. We too will become a 3-5 year contender... Continuity is our saving grace...

We have the highest paid assistant coaches, so my question is, how many of those assistants are ready to become HC's and risk a for sure good salary at Clemson?

Possibly, though I think Bama wins it the next couple of years and I expect him to coach another 4 or 5 years if his mental & physical health are good. Coaching is he passion and his life.
