Clemson baseball have been held out of a super regional the last 4 seasons? Keeping in mind that Jack is the one who recruited Davidson and Beer and Jack never had a chance to benefit from the new facilities that Monte has had since he has been here. The facilities that Jack built but never got to enjoy.

find it ludicrous that there are STILL Leggett apologists running around pining for him to still be here. He was the classic case of a guest staying too long at the party. It was beyond time for him to be gone. And, as far as him not getting to enjoy facility upgrades, Tommy Bowden never got to enjoy the West Zone, or other upgrades that HE put in motion. Do you want him back, too? If so, then you truly are delusional.

How many national championships do you think we’d have right now if Ken Hatfield were our coach for the last 30 years? Surely he’d have this coaching thing down perfect by now.


Cliff Ellis brought Clemson a regular season ACC championship. Wonder how many of those we would have right now if he had been our coach for the last 36 years?

The bottom line is it is clear that no coach should ever be fired for sure!
