I realize he will get another chance and all that, but with Jim's legacy and the apparent Clemson pipeline to Buffalo, he would have had a real shot.

Chad Kelly is an idiot. He had a great shot to be the starting QB for Clemson and ruined it. He embarrassed Clemson and his family.

He's a 19-20 year old kid who deserves a break. Personally, I'm very happy with who I am today, but at 19, I wasn't there yet. Give the kid time to grow up and look at your self before you judge someone else.

Kelly has gotten from Dabo. I'm sure you've heard of all the incidents involving Kelly once he arrived on campus. He wasn't really acting like a team player...and that's only what we KNOW about.

I think it's safe to assume he's had his second chance (with Clemson). I doubt Dabo has a 'one and done' policy. You can't continue making excuses for bad behavior. He's molding himself into what he'll be for the rest of his life. Excusing it, and calling for a break does nothing but embrace his actions and behavior and harm Kelly in the long run.
