Can't complain about that schedule. We got about as favorable one as possible. Now we just have to take advantage of it and win

if we lose game 1 to NC State, and then NCST beats Miami on Fri AM, we are eliminated before we even play a second game. (why? NCST would clinch a record of 2-1 at worst, and as a lower seed, we cannot overtake them).
This format sucks as bad as a tournament format can possibly suck.

I have been told by a few players that we didn't hit as well as we could and made their pitchers look better than they really are. They have hoped to get Miami in the tourney since that weekend.

they are considering a single-double-single elimination format.
single elimination - first round
double elimination - second round
single Championship game
That is the way I understand
