If ESPN were to do a 30 for 30 about something

Clemson, what story do you think is the most compelling, or which one would you like to see?

Roscoe Crosby or the kid that signed with Clemson but had a stroke and was unable to play but Clemson honored his scholarship anyway.

There's been some downright horrid calls to keep that streak alive.

The 2009 game was one of the worst called games I've seen

the 80s - banned from tv, bowls, etc. They wouldn't do anything positive that's fosho

They would have much more of a story about the coots violations over a long span of years and still being failures.

that's true, if about the coots. Why you obsessed dude? The

question was about Clemson.

William Perry and, by association, the 81 title.***

Tommy Bowdens obsession with "grazing"

For grass on the sidelines and resorting to eating those rubber pellets when playing on turf.

For relaxing times, make it Suntory time

On a more serious note...

Maybe a story on Dabo - his rise from a walk on at Bammer - to commercial real estate sales - to wr coach - to successful HC @ Clemson.

Would make for a good story, I don't like Espn, but they do a #### of a job with the 30 for 30's.

That was Bill Simmons' creation, whom they just fired.***

My list

Posted: Jun 5, 2015 1:21 PM

1) Daniel Rodriguez
2) 1981
3) Ibrahiem and the Soccer Dynasty he built
4) The finish (Beating FSU, Duke, USC, and UT)
5) Johnstone

I don't think much of that is interesting to non-Clemson ppl

Posted: Jun 5, 2015 1:48 PM

though. Daniel Rodriguez probably is, but that's much more of a life story than a sports story.

You could do a 30 for 30, Dr Phil, & Judge Judy about Tigernet !***

Dabo Swinney would be a good choice

Posted: Jun 5, 2015 1:27 PM

If he wins a few national championships in the future, i could see them doing a film on him. His story about walking on at bama and how he ended up at Clemson is very interesting. Plus i think he is a unique coach, not many out there like him

This is clearly the best suggestion in this thread. So many of you made a silly (and very unfunny)response to a serious and valid question, but there is nothing new about that on T-Net.

The Alabama Ties.... Wallace Wade develops Frank Howard, Bear Bryant Develops Danny Ford and Gene Stallings provides Dabo Swinney

What I would personally like to see-

1) Hershall Walkers recruitment
2) Rick Barnes vs Dean Smith (including Buckner's dunk)
3) Early Danny years and Willie Underwood saving his job leading up to Natty
4) Clemson - FSU in 80's and how Puntrooskie game changed both programs.
5) I would really like to see the inner workings of Danny's ouster but all parties would likely have to be deceased before such info is divulged....

but his story could be a good cautionary tale.
Also thought a Terry Smith/Nuk Hopkins story could be good, with their relation, Hopkin's success and passing his records in Clemson.
