The team around him would suck so bad that his NFL stock would drop considerably. He is better off playing backup and letting NFL scouts think he is pretty dang good in limited action than to be at a shat show where it's not his fault but he gets the blame.

Into the nfl. Most starters don’t make it. If I were cb7 I would rather play, and have my shot.

Kirby would have no idea what to do with him, because he's Kirby. UGA is not going to stink next year, and no NFL scout is going to look at film of a QB in a 58-3 game against BC's 3rd string defense
Chase should do what's best for his NFL "shot", because I don't think he'll beat out DJ in 2021, and frankly I'd rather DJ gets the reps next year so he's ready to rip from the jump after Trevor bolts

I started thinking since Jake Fromm is going to the NFL, will he get a State Farm commercial with Aaron Rodgers? He is, after all, Jake Fromm State Farm.
