If Basketball Attendance is down 2,000 per game, how much

does that cost us over a 16-18 game home season?

2,000 X $20/ticket = $40,000
2,000 X $ 5/concessions= $10,000
Total = $50,000 X 16 = $800,000/year?

Or am I too low and it is likely $1 Million Plus per season?

Is attendance even that big of a deal? I mean we get way more than that from our cut of the ACC TV deal right?

that is sitting right in front of you? Doesn't make good business sense. I'm sure they would love to see some excitement in Clemson basketball and an arena full of fans and the additional revenue and exposure it would provide.

Clemson basketball has shown that, if you build it, they will come.

What we are seeing with CBB is the same as what happened with CTB in football. Once we got the facilities in place (WEZ) and started to recruit better (Spiller was 1st) and he still lost head scratchers (WF, Duke), in addition to getting blown out every other year by FSU and then AL, it was obvious that we needed a new coach. He had the talent to beat FSU or TENN, but could not get over the hump consistently. CBB had the talent to beat LVL, Miami and Duke, but then has losses to GT, GT, VT, and NCSU.

Give the man 1 year in the new Littlejohn and then let's see if we need a new coach.
