Win a game in the ACC tourney and go to the NCAA tournament, do y'all want to keep Brownell around?
This is not a pro or anti Brownell post. I support him because he is OUR coach. I just want to see the feeling.
And yes, 19 wins will get us in the tourney.

win over a crappy team in the first round of the tournament. We would still have zero wins over decent teams. Wake Forest, Miami, Boston College, NC State, Virginia Tech?
What good is a strong strength of schedule if you lose to the decent teams and beat some of the crappy teams?
We have regressed since the pinnacle of his achievement was reached in his first year here with OP's players.

At this point I actually hope CBB is quietly looking at other options. He has an NIT team, but the fans who care want more from the program. I do not see us making the NCAA tourney unless CBB figures out how to redirect his team. Anyone following the program senses something is wrong, but we do not have an answer.
Time for a change? Circumstances will tell us.

consistently well enough to build a good team and he can't make them better with player development and schemes. He purposely went after transfers en masse with DRad's blessing to buy time and now that the team is built with transfers we see that they are not the panacea we were told they would be.

This team is not going to win 5 more games.
Even if you ASSUME home wins vs the lower echelon ACC teams (and even that's a huge assumption at this point) that's 3 wins (NC State, Wake Forest, BC)
Syracuse is looking pretty good right now and after this weekend there's absolutely zero chance of beating FSU even on our own court.
You've also got road games vs VT, who we couldn't beat on our floor, Duke - not winning that, and Miami.
In order to win 5 more you'd have to get the 3 easier games at home, plus Syracuse and a road win at Miami. It's so unlikely at this point it's not even worth considering.
