BB gets the boot after this season....what would yall think about us trying to go after Jay Wright (coach of Nova?)I know it wouldnt be likely but i think that would be a good hire honestly

That like trading in your 2011 Toyota Camery for a 1991 Honda Civic.....

just wouldn't make sense

Coach Brownell's not leaving Clemson and I hope Clemson won't let him go---we need to establish some consistency in the basketball program and not get into hiring and firing a coach every 5 years. Our basketball program NEEDS a talented coach who's willing to make a long-term commitment and hope that plus improved facilities will begin to attract the talent necessary to compete for the top echelon of this conference.

Also--Jay Wright's not leaving Villanova to come to Clemson.

I think Clemson would be smart to hire a coach that presents a stark contrast to the coaches at Duke, Syracuse, UNC, etc.

With an expanded ACC and most of the elite programs having older white coaches, I think a young african american would make a lot of sense.

(Shaka Smart or Greg Buckner might put Clemson in a better position to be successful IMO)

Greg Buckner was an elite player with a calm demeanor.

He's also coaching for the Rockets right now.
