once they get in the NFL and if Shaq thought that would hurt his draft stock. Gaines Adams had an enlarged heart, Bowers has a degenerative knee condition, Branch is getting better every year, and Beasley was just a rookie. The question ticked me off.

Andre Branch is the best DLineman on the Jags , and Beasley will come along in season 2 .
Shaq and Dodd are both oozing with NFL starter potential . Weak question .

Come on guys, really? He brought up the fact that recent Clemson DE's just haven't "blossomed" in the NFL and how does Shaq think that affects his draft status. Yeah, pretty stupid how other players are supposed to affect the draft status of anyone. Beasley and Branch had their moments and both are getting better. Bowers dealt with injuries. I think both Lawson and Dodd will turn out to be very good DE's in the pros but don't expect them to be gangbusters in their first year or two. Talking the difference between game and size and speed.

Yea, I think suck was a bit of hyperbole, however, I believe Shaq answered the question about as well as one could. Who would of thought of all the talented DE's Clemson has put into the league, Dodd may be the best. Tremendous job by our coaching staff and excellent buy-in from the player.
