Idiot "expert" at ESPN says we're going to Yankee Stadium

Nov 26, 2014, 9:39 AM

ESPN bowl prediction "expert" Brett McMurphy has us playing in the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium. Does ESPN actively seek out people who know nothing about college football to be their experts?

what's so off about that?***

Isn't that like the 7th bowl in the pecking order?

Nov 26, 2014, 9:50 AM

I don't see us going there either.

York, your attitude perplexes me.

what attitude.... I just get a kick out of every post either

Nov 26, 2014, 9:53 AM [ in reply to Isn't that like the 7th bowl in the pecking order? ]

being about an ESPN conspiracy to keep Clemson down or talking about how much better Clemson has been than SCU, "but we just gave the last five away"...

that's all

and why does my question bother you?

All these bowls have ACC tie-ins:

Orange, Russell Athletic, TaxSlayer (conditional), Music City, Belk, and Sun Bowl

Once they get to the second tier bowls, they select based on "geography, matchup, and avoiding regular season rematches."

There are at least 3 bowls (and possibly up to 5) after the Orange Bowl that we would be selected for before the Pinstripe. It would be fine if he was saying there is some non-0% chance we go to the Pinstripe. What makes him an idiot is that he is saying we will most likely go to the Pinstripe (while being presented as an expert).

He is clearly trying to be a contrarian. He has GT beating Free Seafood U.

I think GT is a bad matchup for FSU, who lacks interior

Nov 26, 2014, 9:52 AM

D-line dominance this season. With the way the Jackets can soak up a clock, this game could easily go their way.

Isn't the Independence bowl an ACC vs SEC bowl?

The same guy has NC playing UAB in the Independence bowl.

He has FSU
