I'd rather our game get cancelled than play a game like

Sep 11, 2018, 8:17 PM

they played in Raleigh and Chapel Hill last year. We are a 34 pt favorite and the better team, if we play in a torrential rain anybody could win 6-0 or something like that. I checked the five day forecast for Clemson, Athens and Atlanta and all call for Sunny and 88-90 degrees. Checked on weather channel. That can't be right.

No, a 1 point win against them would still count as a win and the playoff selection committee would rank 13-0 higher than 12-0. 11-1 vs. 12-1 would be even weaker.

Let me get this straight, your a 34 point favorite and you'd choose to Cancell the game because of torrential rain, your words anyone could win. Man, can't wait to play you guys.

We played the day after Hugo

The selection committee would not care about this game. Miami had a game cancelled and were #2 until they lost to Pitt.

Hugo didn't have much affect on the Clemson area***

Duke did.

If forecast for rain is less than the Notre Dame game of 2015, please consider going if your family and home are safe and secure.

Correct and This Hurricane will probably have little effect on the clemson area. The issue is the State’s resources. If Hugo happened today, I don’t we would have played. Times have changed.

It would help our SOS if the game was cancelled.

But I hope we play.
