The NFL and thought that another year would help him out. On field college performance doesn’t correlate to NFL success, it’s more about raw talent and training. I figure he probably thought that he could benefit by having 12 extra months of hands on QB training before trying to go pro.

I don’t think he thought about that. However, if he has an NFL or bust mentality the extra 12 months of training won’t hurt. I wish him the best. Beat Syracuse!

He very well may benefit from another full year of practice and strength coaches. While I think we have the best coaches of anyone, he may also benefit from another coach’s approach. I wish Kelly nothing but the best moving forward and I sincerely hope that we as fans move forward also and embrace TL and all of the excitement he will bring to our team. Go Tigers

I understand your thinking.

Perhaps you’re over thinking the situation.

Reality: KB’s ego is hurt. He left to get more playing time and to escape Trevor Lawrence.

Even reading David’s post this morning wherever Kelly goes there is going to be competition. Every school has a qb that expects to play just like Kelly. The difference may be they are not seniors, not that that entitles you to start
