MLB has tightened up rule about take-out slides

on double plays.
You have to start the slide (contact with the ground) before you get to the base.
Close enough to the base to reach it with hand or fooot
Able and attempt to remain at the base after slide
Cannot change direction for purpose of initiating contact.
Cannot do a "roll" or raise hands or spikes up at defensive player
Also, the "neighborhood play" is now reviewable. That means you better actually touch the bag, or the runner at 2B is going to be safe.

The old "you can't assume a double play" convention. As long as you get an out and no one advances an extra base, there are no errors on double plays. I don't think you'll see that much of it, actually.
