of the facts.
The "Playing Nobody" facts...discuss:
Special Points of Note:
- Clemson plays a FCS opponent each year...just like everyone else other than ND, who can't afford to play an FCS team because they don't have a conference affiliation and still want to get to a playoff.
- I'll give them the GT game...for now, but GT could implode so we'll see.
- For those saying Louisville took us to the wire...yes they did, in their place, on a short week. If you saw that game...I'm wondering if you saw the UVA/ND game?
- Texas is bad. Not even in relation to the rest of this discussion...just wow...they are really bad.
Please feel free to bombard CBS and other news outlets acting like chumps with this information.

They should really be 3-1 right now with their only loss being to Notre Dame.

beating them 38-3 is a pretty impressive rest considering Texas took two top 25 teams to the absolute wire

Not everyone plays an FCS school, and Clemson doesn't

have to. No one in the Big Ten will after this season. Texas, Oklahoma, USC, UCLA, Ohio St., Michigan, Penn St. are among the schools that don't, at least not that I remember.

While some of these schools don't play FCS schools, they also schedule the worst, smallest FBS schools they can find. App St was FCS when they knocked off Michigan. I'd say North Dakota/Montana would straight work a lot of the MAC, AAC, or Sunbelt schools. Playing UMass, Central Michigan, or Tennessee Polytechnic isn't overly impressive, no matter their conference affiliation.

Both had games where they got a good scare (L'ville and UVA), and neither has a great win. IMO both teams are unknowns, and a result either team's way will not surprise me at all.
