If you're coming through Atlanta any time in the next few weeks be advised a section of 85 North collapsed tonight due to a fire inside of 285. As a result both directions of 85 are now closed inside the perimeter. Use 285 to either 20 or 75 south to get through downtown.

this afternoon at about 5 pm - my office is on Piedmont Road nearby. Is going to be a pain getting to work now because Piedmont Road will now be packed all of the time.

my niece and her husband live down there. he was right near where it collapsed. put a video on fb. awful. best of luck to you guys down there.

I feel for all of you the live and work near there. Its going to be a nightmare for at least a few months. I work in Sandy Springs. The traffic was bad enough before. Good luck!
