Game in Winston-Salem. It was a night game. And for those of you that were there it was colder than the Ice Bowl(I kid, barely).

Wind was nasty and it was freezing. My memory serves me correct, we went up 28-0.

Oh how quickly ESPN forgets.......

We took blankets and were still freezing.

My sons baseball coach was the head of state troopers then and got us tickets and let us park beside the patrol cars next to the stadium.

To say we were grateful when we left is a huge understatement!!

I think that was the coldest I have ever been. We had multiple layers, boots and heavy gloves with hand warmers. Nothing helped. I couldn't feel my feet. The outcome was worth it!
