I was trying to splain to my wife

that I only have ~900 posts logged since '08 and I really don't spend that much time on TNet. [I had another userid much earlier that I wish I had not lost.]
Anyways, I was going through one of the threads calling out the tens of thousands of posts that most people have. I must have gone through 10 people - 25,000 posts, 50,000 posts, and on and on. I was feeling pretty good about my case and the evidence I put forth.
I looked up and she said, you have a lot of posts! I said "this is over 12 years, and did you hear the numbers I was saying? These people have 10x or more posts in half the time!" She just looked at me.
I went back to eating my soup.

particularly the Vestibule. I had 25k posts in about a year or two. It was incredible, especially considering they had posting limits of 30 seconds (maybe it was 60 seconds).

Yeah, my wife told me I had an unhealthy obsession with tnet and I tried man-splaining the same thing and she said, "so you're on a web site with a bunch of idiots then". I just didn't have a comeback, at least she walked away.
