On their initial contract . CPJ has recruited to nothing but his mid-20th century scheme and it wouldn't be fair to any coach to have to deal with that pasture full of middling heifers .
There's a big hole on the OLine and several severe deficiencies in the offensive and defensive depth charts .
CPJ just didn't recruit very well and their new guy will need time to set back up . More time than usual I suspect , given the talent- empty roster .

If I were the new head coach at GT, I would just roll with what CPJ built and stick with the triple option, no need to go reinventing the wheel.
