an extra point last week? I tried to let it go, but no one else mentioned it and I just can't hold back any longer. It's completely unacceptable.

Why would you be ticked off? The Tigers are only human and a 58 or 59 drubbing is equally amazing. They learn from mistakes, mistakes are good if it is in a winning effort. That way it doesn’t happen when it really counts...just my thoughts.

By missing the extra point, we only tied the record of 58 points set against Wake in 1981.

Even up 50+ points by that time, he was upset. Which is good, and he's really the only one that matters if it upsets.
But yes I was a little disappointed as well.

Same here. But not only that, looking at the big picture, that extra point might even cost us a spot in the final four. Cause 59-0 looks much much more impressive than 58-0. Dang, all we can hope for is to be ranked 5th when the committee makes its final 4 selection. And then it'll effect us going into next year and the year after, dabo will get fired and we hire Venables and have to start over. Snow ball effect all because of an extra point. Oh well.

Saw it in an earlier Tnet post, so it must be true 'cause Tnet is kinda like the Internet. It was a solely a matter of lack of physical conditioning - Hugel's leg jus run outta has! Dabo was upset but he's on it - Hugel still running laps right now.
