He was right.

The 1992 election was the one that led to what we have today. No Perot, no Buchanan = no Bernie, no Trump.

1992 is when America started to get woke to The Establishment.

Had he not taken a"sabbatical" during the campaign, he may have won. Getting back in late like he did, still made some noise and he showed the right third party candidate was viable.

Being a staunch young GOP'er back in those days, I correctly or incorrectly blame him for taking votes away from Bush Sr

Still, loved his stuff back in the day. I lived in Texas at the time and that was a helluva race. I was able to see both Clinton/Gore and Buchanan come through San Antonio. Cool.
