But when their own coach called Nuk "the best WR in the country"...might speak that he's ready.
Whatever, we'll see where our respective WRs land.

That was a strategy by Spurrier to encourage Nuk to leave. Nothing more.

Isn't it interesting that the 'arrogant jerk' who "uses and abuses his players" encourages his guys to go if they are projected as rounds 1-3, but St. Dabo of Assisi wants Nuk, a projected 1st rounder, to stay. Makes you wanna say, Hmmmmm?

I've never seen anything indicating that Spurrier encourages players to turn pro if they're 3rd round or higher. Quite frankly, I think that the decision is much more complicated than that. With regard to Dabo's advice, he's said that he typically encourages anyone with a first round grade. Nuk might go as one of the last first round picks, but his grade was "As high as 2nd round". How he shows out at the combine will make a big difference. It also matters where teams draft who really need receivers and receivers with particular skills.

And the only sports radio station is "the game" .
When they began talking about how great of a decision it was for Ace to go and how he is ready to compete at the next level I turned it off and listened to NPR instead.
Just a few weeks ago, they were saying how terrible it was for Nuk to go when he wasn't a first round pick and how horrible of a decision he was making and something must be going on in Clemson for him to leave.
Nuk: projected 2nd round pick Ace: projected 100th pick (4th round)

it's always a great decision to leave the Capital City asap, it's rarely a good decision to leave Clemson before your time is up (I'd say for Nuk it was probably a good decision though).
