link above. Hood probably traveled there. And from deweather's post below, there was some contact on Hall's drive after Thornton hit the ball and was pulling away, but you have to call it consistent on both ends.

50/50 call...
3.8 sec left, you let the players win it. If no foul is called, and Hood scores... then we get the same thing on the other end with no call, I would be perfectly fine.
the players would have decided it

I think this is a problem with Basketball in General.

The Officials have too much influence over how a close game ends. This is unavoidable IMO because of the speed of the game and making a judgement like that.
That could damage football if it ever get to the point of pass interference being called on every other play. Of course, we have never seen that in the ACC....have we?

he flopped and got the call. Complete bull ####. There was another video showing the ref behind the play waiting until Hood was halfway thru his flop before he blew the whistle. No matter you may want to call it, it was not as much of a clear foul as Hall getting hacked on the arm on the other end. It's a darn shame this stuff is allowed to continue.

and flopped = Foul
Hall was hacked across his left arm and hipped bump, undercut and fell = No Foul.
If the uniforms would have been reversed, then so would have the calls.

Contact? Sure. He was also out of control

and arguably flopped a little too. There wasn't nearly as much contact there as there was on the next play when Hall drove to the basket.

After watching both plays several times in slo-mo, I have to admit that Hood was fouled by K.J. As he starts to go up to the basket, there is contact, but K.J. is along side him, and according to the rules, Hoods path is impeded by the defense. On the other end, Rod took three steps before he was fouled, so I'm amazed that he wasn't called for that obvious violation. However, the reach across with body contact, ball first or not, is the same foul (impeding basket path) as on the other end!!

Do you use hallucinogenics?

There's obviously some sort of chemical imbalance going on with you, and it seems to also affect your vision.
Hood initiated what little contact there was, then flopped as he was losing control. At no point was Hood actually in the act of shooting, which makes one wonder if you really even watched the replay at all let alone "several times in slo-mo". Hood's path was far from impeded. Hood initiated contact with KJ, traveled then flopped.
By the same token, Hall didn't even get close to traveling and CLEARLY hacked on his arm as he was going up for his shooting motion.
You're obviously telling lies or under the influence by drugs. Or both?

Tell you what, I'll be brutally honest! What you know about the sport of basketball could be inscribed on the head of a sewing needle. Hood didn't get a chance to shoot because he was fouled--get a rule book and read it, it's in there! Hall took 3, count'em Shaney, 3 steps before contact. I know a great optometrist, if you need him?

So really, is it drugs or were you born with that imbalance?

A blind man could see Hood initiated the contact before traveling and faking a flop, which, thanks to Dukies making a mockery of the game, is supposed to be a big no-no, .
Hall was hacked on the arm and didn't travel at all.
You're either on drugs or mentally ill.
Tell you what though, I'll go to an optometrist if you go to a psychiatrist. Deal?
