make plays only shows how really weak they are.

FSU and their stupid backpack
Miami even added some touchdown rings to their TO chain - lame to the nth degree

I think there are other ones, but they show how pathetic they are having to resort to stupid crap like that. I can't believe that grown men (the coaches) actually allow nonsense like that.

Just to show how stupid they are, only certain players/positions on the TEAM are even going to have opportunities to get a TO or score a TD. It detracts from the TEAM and focuses on the individual. WRONG! FAIL!

youth athletics. Even through HS, the concept of TEAM is starting to slip. But beyond that, we no longer allow kids to put an emphasis on winning and losing. If players arent gonna give it their all for the team or winning (and why would they when they've never been challenged to), then coaches are having to find other ways to motivate players.

during football season can be a two edge sword. Not sure it's smart... kind of like lifting weights before a game.

I'm glad Dabo puts a ban during the season.
