...was that it could have escalated into something very ugly during the game. That would not only have put the Orange Bowl results in jeopardy, it could also have caused the ejection of players that could have had effects on the NC (not to mention injury).

smack talk. Some of the things the players were saying about exposing our flaws, I think they were just parroting what the OU coaching staff had been telling them

lightbulb: Stoops is so far overrated it isn't even funny. No good coach let's his p[;ayers mouth off ;like they did. Baker Baby might not want to ever open his big mouth again after the beating he took!
