For recruiting kids that have committed to Clemson. SMU isn't the only school recruiting these kids, why does it matter? His job is to make SMU better. If a kid chooses SMU over Clemson, oh well. There are thousands every year that choose other schools over Clemson. If they wanted to go to Clemson Bc of Morris's offense, why would they go to Clemson? They don't want to take a chance of jeopardizing their own future for a couple of seasons of a down offense. I don't blame them, it's their future. Go where you have the best chance to shine.

Reported Clemson offering a player that was committed to another school. The jerk-offs on this board don't approve of logical thinking about the possibility of our offense not being as potent next year with an offensive play caller with no play calling experience.

Verbals are just verbals. I don't consider them a commit until the LOI is signed.
I don't blame Morris for reaching out to these guys. He has to let the SMU base know that he will go after the best he can. I'm sure his message is "come with me and lets start something special." My tune may change though if one of the big boys did take him up on the offer though
